Shadows of the Blind Dead is a solitaire game zine, written and created by Neuicon, as an homage and love letter to the original Blind Dead films of the Italian 70's.
In Shadows of the Blind Dead, you take on the role of an intrepid explorer, historian, archaeologist, or other brave soul drawn to Berzano by the whispers of its dark past. Your journey will lead you through eerie locations such as the Monastery, Village, Forest, Graveyard, and other mysterious areas. You must gather vital clues to uncover the secrets of the Templars' curse, collect supplies to aid in your survival, and face the relentless pursuit of the blind dead.
The game is filled with suspense and strategic decision-making. Every move you make could bring you closer to uncovering the mystery or facing a gruesome end. As you navigate through the haunted landscape, you'll encounter various events, battle the undead knights, and strive to achieve different objectives that keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.
Shadows of the Blind Dead is a solitaire horror game designed to be played solo, providing a deeply immersive and chilling experience. The game unfolds in a series of turns, each consisting of movement, exploration, events, and combat phases. Your primary goal is to survive the night and achieve your objective, which is determined by a roll of the die at the beginning of the game.

You lose the game if your health points drop to zero or if you fail to accomplish the objective, resulting in the Templars consuming you.
